What is Vocal?
Vocal is a tool for artists and creators to fund and build community around their creative practice.
How does Vocal work?
With Vocal, people subscribe to support creators on an ongoing basis. In return, creators open the door to their creative practice — by sharing their process, notes from the field, in-progress previews, and other rewards. It’s a way for creators to build a community of dedicated and meaningful support around the work they make.
How do I join Vocal?
Right now, we have some early guidelines for the scope of Vocal. Vocal is for the continuous funding of creators, whether people or collectives, who have a creative practice in one or more of our supported categories: visual and performing arts, film and video, publishing, design and technology, music, comics, food and craft, and games.

This is another edition in the WATCH WHAT YOU SAY TO ME chronicles.
I've said many times in past blogs, conversations on social media, and in person to almost everyone I know that I write stories based on small, insignificant moments that in my imagination get turned into full blown sagas. It's sort of like a daydreaming habit; I just pick something out and "create" from that point on. Whether it's a lively imagination or my mind is constantly busy, either way that's how a story comes about sometimes. This particular blog originally started with an inbox message I received from someone who I would say has ulterior motives... to say the least. As you read this blog, you might be giving me the meanest side eye of all time because on every level, I'm straight snitching in this bitch! I totally agree and feel you on that. However, due to the subject matter of the inbox and the fact that my mind is quite dirty, I decided that this type of snitching is allowed (BECAUSE I SAY SO, MOTHERFUCKER!). Let's get into it:
INBOX: "I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of your work and would love to be in business with you."
ME: "Thank you so much. What type of business do you do?"
INBOX: "It's a new idea I came up with based on a couples survey with eight questions. The survey ask questions on the subjects of sex, emotions, and fears. Each couple takes the survey separately and the survey is free but there's a fee to exchange the answers with your significant other. The answers to the survey will also be used as business transactions to get what I need or want from the people taking the survey. This can work in any scenario and there's no law against it."
ME: "I don't see how I fit in to this."
I've said this before... I get a good amount of shit in my email, inbox, etc. that I don't want or can't afford to look at... but sometimes I get proposals that get my dirty mind thinking. My first thoughts on this was "what kind of FBI alphabet boys extortion type fuck shit is in my inbox and why would someone think I would be down with such bullshit?" Then the erotic writer in me said, "Hold on there... what kind of questions would a person ask to reveal such sacred information? How does one get a person to tell all their dirty little secrets, kinks, and wants?" I have to say, this is the beginning of a great conversation!
So, I have some questions for you! Nothing you have to pay for. Your responses will not be held hostage for ransom, nothing crazy like that. I MIGHT use them in an upcoming blog because as I stated at the beginning of this blog, I take simple moments and turn them into full blown sagas.
1. What's your most decadent sexual fantasy?
2. Would you ever have sex in front of an audience?
3. Do you like to watch your partner masturbate and why?
4. What's your favorite kink?
5. Do you fantasize about others while having sex with your partner?
6. How long can you go without having sex?
7. When was the last time you had sex with someone you didn't know or just met?
8. What do you need in order to have an orgasm?
