"Giselle! You haven't gone out in so long! Let's go to a bar tonight & just vibe girl!" Mina was always trying to get Giselle to let loose and let her hair down, sometimes it worked & sometimes it didn't.
"Mina, girl I have so much work to do! I'm slumped, I can't."
"It's Friday night, the work will still be there. And it's my birthday weekend! Come on!"
"Wow! That's what we do now Mina? Pull the bday card huh? Your bday is next weekend fool, you are too much!" Giselle was planning a surprise 27th Birthday for Mina and she couldn't wait to let the cat out the bag!
"This weekend, next weekend, what's the difference?! Let's go out, please!"
"Alright! two drinks max! I have sh*t to do tomorrow!" Giselle reluctantly stated as she laced up her heels.
Mina clapped, "Finally! You look cute too boo!" Giselle threw on lightly faded distressed denim jeans, a loose fitted white tee, and lace up olive green booties. Her hair was a ruby red color, so it contrasted well with green and other colors.
"Thanks bestie, you look bomb as well. Are you ready?"
The two best friends left out and went to a new trendy hangout in Washington, DC: Society. It was trendy enough for a Friday, but casual enough for those who just wanted to chill out and vibe. Mina loved this spot since it opened! She'd been begging to take Giselle here for months! The two ladies drank cocktails and occasionally stepped on the dance floor. Giselle was enjoying herself, she hadn't been out dancing since October.
The DJ decided to play: "One Dance" by Drake. "Mina! Let's go dance!! You know I love this song!"
"You go! I'll be right here." Mina had a boo thang she was eyeing from across the room.
"Ugh, alright. I'll dance by myself!" Giselle didn't think she was a good dancer. But when others saw her, they loved the way she moved. She always danced like the music was playing through her. Twirling her hips, with her eyes closed, Giselle didn't notice the guy staring at her; as he planned how he was going to dance with her.
Maurice was a 6'1 tall glass of chocolate milk. He was an entrepreneur that managed other businesses. One way that he coped with the grind of his everyday life was by going out dancing. It felt good to just move and be free. One thing he loved more than dancing was dancing with a beautiful woman.
Maurice noticed Giselle the moment she walked into Society. He caught a glimpse of her smile and felt instantly attracted. But, he knew he had to be creative when he approached her. She didn't look like your typical, "wassup boo," pickup line type of woman. So he just watched and waited. As he was on the dance floor, he peeped Giselle dancing, all alone.
Moments later, Maurice was intertwined with Giselle. Both hips moving in sync, their chemistry was amazing! Once the song ended, Maurice kissed Giselle on the cheek.
"Excuse me miss... would you mind if I called you sometime?" Mesmerized by the fact that this fine man could dance so well, Giselle responded: "Uh, sureee...its 240-456-****." She gracefully smiled and walked away.
And that's how Giselle B., a successful, sophisticated, sexy & driven woman began to venture through night classes of #PillowTalk101!
