How to Find a Sugar Mama

Money is the motive when trying to find and attract a sugar mama.

Gershwin piano concertos flooded the penthouse bedroom as the young, muscular stud uncorked a third bottle of Dom Perignon, drenching his matronly lover’s taut stomach and pussy with the gushing champagne as she laughed wildly. On the luxurious Egyptian cotton, the two are rolling in the sheets, enjoying the feel and heat from one another.

At forty-eight, the lady with frosted hair was still genuinely attractive. Daily workouts at a private spa kept her lean and shapely and gave her an energy level high enough to out-fuck a man half her age, which was exactly what she was doing.

Her new husband lifted her onto his impressive shaft and the two made love before a window overlooking Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre in Paris.

She’d never known such happiness, and he'd never imagined such lavish wealth. Just four short months ago, they didn’t appear a likely match. He was a waiter at one of the lady's hotels, and she was a widow left with a diversified fortune in real estate and oil. Now he's living out an American Dream—he's married a sugar mama.

Wealthy Women's Liberation

Every man has heard his father say, "It’s just as easy to fall in love with a rich girl as it is a poor one." Good advice, but there was a time when it was virtually unheard of that a wealthy woman, particularly one of breeding, would consider marrying a man of ordinary means. No, the fabulously rich and Social Register set were determined to continue the practice of inter-marrying within their closed group.

Then it hit. A few independent-minded women started the revolution of marrying whomever they damn well pleased. Today, every Tom, Dick, and Harry has a chance to meet, court, and even marry a sugar mama. This practice became more common in the 1960s and 70s. Christina Onassis, daughter of the Greek shipping magnate, shocked many bluebloods when she married Sergei Kauzov, forty-three, an undistinguished Soviet tradesman who shared an apartment with his mother. With untold millions, a shipping fleet half the size of the Soviet navy, and her own private island, Christina had her pick of men. She chose Kauzov, friends say, simply because he made her happy.

After their 1980 divorce, Kauzov himself must have felt pretty happy with a reported $10 million settlement which keeps him living comfortably in London.

Britain’s Princess Anne was another rebel. Her marriage to an ordinary soldier, Captain Mark Phillips, created a sensation in an English press used to seeing its royalty wed other aristocracy. The social pressure on this unorthodox pair has made for a stormy yet enduring union.

Princess Margaret of Britain, the Queen's sister, also displayed an irrepressible fondness for dating men no matter how basic their station in life, as did, from America's own royal family, Caroline Kennedy.

What are your odds of marrying into money?

There are 11 million millionaires in the United States, and a remarkable half of those millionaires are women. When in comes to billionaires, there are an estimated 530, with only 50 of them being females.

If you're interested in setting your sights at the very top, the richest lady in America, according to a Forbes magazine estimate, is Christy Walton, widow of Walmart’s John Walton, who inherited her husband’s fortune, an estimated $41 billion.

Another Walmart heiress is on the list of top ranked women. Alice Walton, whose father is the founder of Walmart and whose sister-in-law is Christy Walton, comes in with an estimated $39 billion.

The widow of Italian candy mogul inherited billions from her husband Michele Ferrero. Maria Franca Fissolo is worth an estimated $23.4 billion.

Shaping Up for Sugar Mamas

Clearly, thousands of unattached wealthy women are out there, waiting for the right romance to come along and brighten what are often bored and insulated lives. But what obstacles must a man overcome to win the favor of a sugar mama?

It helps, of course, if you are resourceful and play up whatever your strengths may be: good looks, charm, quick wit, a position of power, athletic or artistic talent.

Someone who seriously wants to pursue a rich woman should also arm himself with a carefully prepared plan of personal development. Nothing attracts successful, rich women like the appearance of a successful man—even if he's faking it.

If you’re not in prime shape, enroll in an exercise program. Build yourself up so you'll have a chest that fills out your shirt and buns that hold up firmly. Go to a hair stylist and discover a cut that best shows off your facial features.

If you're plagued by an accent like Brooklynese, work on your speech, either by mimicking movie stars or getting a diction teacher who'll assist you in learning a more pleasing brand of English. You don’t want to reveal yourself as a stranger to high society every time you open your mouth.

Wearing quality, conservative clothes boosts a man's image with the ladies that count. There are dozens of books listing the specifics of dressing for the look of success, and any sales associate at a better men's store will be able to make tasteful suggestions.

It doesn’t hurt to be well-read. Keep up with current events for something to talk about at social occasions. Read tasteful joke books and joke sections of magazines for humor you can pass off as your own.

Knowing at least one subject in-depth, even if it’s baseball or the micro-structure of coal, will be an asset. You might run into a rich girl who's crazy about baseball (or could become a fan), and if your specialty is esoteric, like the micro-structure of coal, you could impress the wealthy by talking over their heads.

Practice the subtle art of flirting: good eye contact, a warming grin, a knowing smile, a subtle, gentle touch, a compliment about something she may feel uneasy about, e.g., to a girl with a big nose: "I love your nose. It adds to your regal looks."

Succeeding with Sugar Mamas

The final lesson in marrying a sugar mama is to learn the general characteristics of the types with which you’re most likely to succeed.

As with any woman or man, personalities vary. Some wealthy people are reserved and classy. Others are wild and promiscuous. Many are much like you and me. Whatever their personalities, these women are busy rolling in dough.

In your quest is for a woman of wealth, you’ll find that money not only talks, sometimes it sings and dances. Celebrities often have more dollars than they know what to do with, considering the salaries and contracts given to top models, actresses, and musicians nowadays. These women often come from humble beginnings, too, and therefore have a yen to do it all and see it all with wild abandon.

Besides celebrities, there are other "new money" women: lottery or sweepstakes winners, lucky companions to the rich who’ve come into inheritances, wild divorcees or widows of wealthy men, insurance policy claimants and lawsuit winners. Money brings these women a sense of power, and since they tend to flaunt their newfound fortunes, they’re easy to spot.

A growing number of entrepreneurial women are making their millions all on their own. Tory Burch, for example, is a fashion designer, whose line of women’s "preppy-boho" clothing earned her a billion in less than a decade. Starting at a cement factory in Moscow, Elena Baturina took courses in management and started gaining recognition in construction and real estate. Together, she and her brother founded Inteco, a Russian construction company.

This kind of woman is likely to be attracted to a hard-working, successful businessman, someone who’s strong and independent. Remember how small businesses can explode, so keep your eyes open for a spirited lady entrepreneur who's starting out in your community. She may need a shoulder to cry on while she's frustrated with all the problems of opening a new business, but she’ll be thankful when she makes her fortune. And then you’ll have your very own sugar mama!
