Drowning In a Sea of Sin Top Story - December 2023
I watched the world go by in a blur outside the taxi window, I knew that only I could save myself. There was no one else to catch me, hold me, help me. If I had a family to surround and support me, a good mum or mother-in-law, then one or other would have looked after my children, put me to bed and perhaps I wouldn’t have felt so alone and lost, needing to make such a huge decision. But my own mother was long dead, and my mother-in-law may as well have been for all the love and assistance I’d got from her. She had never, ever lifted a finger to show me any kindness, help, thought or gratitude for having given her four beautiful grandchildren – all of whom she totally ignored – and been a loving and supportive wife to their son.

Dancing With The Devil
CHAPTER FOURTEEN. YOU DIRTY ROTTEN THIEF. I was fast asleep in an old dusty caravan on the rural outskirts of Sydney. My four children were tucked up fast asleep in their bunks. Their school clothes were neatly ironed and hung up for the morning, when I’d drive them to their schools.

A Harem Built on Sand
“Like sands through the hour glass so are the days of my lives”. I am Amarni B’int Rashida B’int Salma, fourth wife of His Most Excellent Majesty, Selim IV, Sultan of Ottomani. I lived in his harem of His Majesty’s family....his wives, daughters, his unmarried cousins, and, of course, his fearsome mother and first wife. From time to time, I am granted the pleasure of his Majesty’s company when his mother, the former Sultana Hafsa chooses me over all the other women in his Harem.

Beauty In The Beast
The moment I saw it, I was transfixed. Unable to move. A Colossus of Rhodes astride its plinths as ships sailed beneath and beyond.....an arachnophobe suddenly seeing a huge spider on her dressing-room mirror, I just stood there in a catatonic state, mesmerized, like a deer hypnotized by headlights.

RAGE. Pure unadulterated ferocious vicious blood curdling fucking rage. With every stride forward she could feel the hot venom penetrating her heart and pulling her backwards towards hell. The powerful stabbing force in her chest resembled an uninvited uncontrollable demon biting her repeatedly with its sharp fangs.

The Lost Lake of Souls
Vivian gathered her long silk dress into her hands and made her way down to the lake. Once there she walked around its grassy edge peering into its depths, silent and still other than the occasional dragonfly landing gently on its surface and creating ripples which slid across the face of the lake disappearing into the unknowable. Observing them, she thought about what she was about to do to her lover.
