Talking with the Stars: Jada Kai

Back in 2018, I flew out to Las Vegas in hopes of making another documentary about the adult film industry. I attended the AVN Expo during AVN Awards weekend. Imagine Super Bowl week for adult film, and that's what the weekend is like for the industry.

Fans, performers, producers, etc. all mingle and meet to celebrate the industry in public. It's kind of shocking to many people who find out such a thing takes place. As a society, people are often shamed for partaking in the business, so it's easy to see why people would be surprised to find out that those in adult film are actually celebrated and have meet and greet sessions with fans.

As I strolled around early in the day, I came across the most beautiful woman in the room. Jada Kai was skating around (with roller skates) in a unicorn suit and her magnetic appeal was undeniable. She had that sparkle like the 1980s singer Vanity possessed where you just couldn't turn away.

At the time, few people knew her, but now she's on the rise with over 13,000 followers and counting on Twitter. She's done it as an indie performer and she seems to be having a blast every step of the way. It's my honor to know that I conducted the first interview of her career. Man it's so crazy to me that that's an old school song because I remember when that came out.

It was my first CD, I think.

Will Smith.

Right on. Most people would be too cool to say that. I like that. Will Smith is alright. Shout out to the Fresh Prince. What's your favorite drink and it doesn't have to be alcoholic, just what you like to drink the most?

That's a tough one. I like bubbly water. Like that Perrier.

What's your favorite fruit?

Pineapple.

What's the best idea you've ever had?

Coming to AVN.

What's your favorite state?

Colorado. Legal weed.

Do you sleep in pajamas or nude?

Nude. Always.

What did you do on your first date?

I made out with him.

Favorite childhood memory?

My first back flip off of a swing.The first time I did a back flip off of a swing, I fell on my face and had a face full of mulch.

When I started doing porn (laughs).

I just did one in a public laundry room, so that's clearly the best one. It's on ManyVids.

Yes. All of them.

I don't know. I just picked up skateboarding and I'm a bad ass at that.

Really? How long have you been doing it?

I picked it up this year. When I was a kid I had my skateboard stolen and I never got a new one until this yearand I'm such a bad ass.

Red Lobster. They were so mean, fucking Red Lobster.

Grand Theft Auto—no Tomb Raider. Laura Croft is a bad ass.
