Sofia had several nasty habits. The toughest one yet was spiraling out of control when everything and everyone else was prospering. The quiet scared her, gave her a sense of uneasiness that wouldn't let her sleep at night. She needed to make enough noise to fill the empty void she'd inherited since she was born.

Tonight, she'd do just that at the grand opening of Paraiso, the new lounge she co-owned. It seemed like just yesterday she and Natalie had drawn up the blueprints for this place. Now, almost six months after she'd been released from prison, the lounge was ready to open, and her island was thriving.

Things were going even better than she expected. She'd managed to convince Jason to tweak some of the drugs he'd given her so she'd be able to sell it to her people, and not actually kill them in the process. The tourists were bringing more and more attention to the island, which meant more business for her and she was finally seeing all her hard work being paid off.

Daviel had gone back to Mexico, and she hadn't seen him since the incident between her, him and Andy in her bathroom. He claimed he'd been too busy to visit but her gut was telling her he'd seen something that night his ego couldn't handle. She had no time to stroke anything but his cock, so she focused on the family business instead.

In another year or so, she'd be close to getting back the amount of money she had spent building her community back up. Paraiso was a big step towards that since that was where most of the drugs would be bought in the underbelly of the building. It was close to the coast, which was perfect for incoming and outgoing shipments, so she'd have a closer eye on the inventory.

"Are you ready?" Natalie whispered into her ear as she handed her the giant pair of scissors to cut the ribbon, and Sofia nodded, putting on her best smile in front of her people. She managed to skip the big speech and encouraged everyone to let loose and have fun tonight. They hollered and clapped as she cut the ribbon and stepped aside for them, giving a short nod to the bouncers near the entrance to start letting them in.

The V.I.P section of the club was held right above the dance floor, and she looked over the railing as she sipped at her Corona two hours later, noticing Jasmine Lujan enter the club with Andy at her side. Her body wound up tightly at the sight of them together and she kicked herself for not digging deep enough to make the connection. Jasmine was either related to him or his ex-wife. Although it wasn't uncommon for this community to share common last names, she had a feeling those two were a lot closer than their opposite personalities led on.

A low simmering rage began to fuel her empty tank and she chugged back the remains of her beer as she kept an eye on the Lujans. They looked around casually, trying not to attract too much attention. But it was hard not noticing them. They were both attractive enough to at least get some glances thrown their way. Including Sofia's.

The beer combined with the line of coke she'd done earlier was making her head spin but she hadn't felt more alive than she did now, burning with rage at the sight of Andy paying attention to anyone else but her. Or Jade. Definitely Jade. Andy didn't belong to her and apparently she had a hard time believing that. They hadn't spoken much since the incident he walked into with Daviel. Not that she was counting the days until he stopped being mad at her for being nothing other than herself. She made people worry. She was unpredictable and her temper had its own reputation. Sofia was a wildcard he had no idea how to handle, and she wanted to keep it that way for as long as she could. She lived her entire life that way, and she wasn't going to let his unjustified silent treatment change her mind now.

"Where's Jade?" Sofia asked over the music to Natalie, who was busy making her gentleman friend motorboat her breasts as she held a shot of tequila in between them.

"She's at the bar I think! Want me to tell one of the guys to get her?" Natalie offered, but Sofia shook her head and got up from her seat instead.

"I'll go find her," Sofia announced and proceeded to exit the V.I.P section and headed down the metal staircase, where she met with one of her bodyguards. She ordered him to keep an eye out for Jasmine and he nodded obediently before she continued to move into the dancing crowd. As soon as she got to the bar, Jade was nowhere to be found. She looked around for her some more until she reached the hallway that led towards the basement, where she had all of her drug inventory stashed behind a vault.

She started going down the steps before her hips met the hands of a man. Sofia didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Whoever decided it was a smart idea to corner her without any protection of their own had another thing coming.

"Better get these hands off me before I break them," she threatened sharply as she reached for the handgun tucked underneath the strap wrapped around her thigh. But she couldn't reach it in time. The man had her pressed against the corner wall, his erection pressing against her stomach as she tried to slip away from him. Her instincts were telling her to stay put as she closed her eyes tight, to wait for the right time to strike but she'd been in this position too many times to allow another man to take advantage of her. She'd experienced too much of it in prison.

"Sofia, it's Andy. Relax." His voice broke through the haze of rage burning her thoughts as flashbacks of her time in prison began to take over her. She never believed in PTSD until now and she had a feeling it was going take a hell of alot more coke to help her manage it.

"Go away!" she exclaimed as she pushed him away and he lifted his hands up in surrender.

"You're having a panic attack. I'm just trying to help," he explained and she couldn't help but laugh as she tried to keep her hands from shaking and tried to keep her breathing under control.

"Helping me by trying to fuck me? That's a new one," she countered bitterly as she finally managed to breathe slowly through her episode and reach for her handgun. She aimed it at him and watched him let out an exasperated sigh.

"I'm not going to apologize for the way my body reacts to you. But I am sorry if I made you feel unsafe. It wasn't my intention," Andy claimed and she would've believed him if her gut wasn't telling her not to.

"How do you know Jasmine?" she asked him, still aiming the gun at the his forehead. The gun was on safety mode but he didn't need to know that.

"She's... my ex-wife," he continued hesitantly and watched her expression carefully, as if trying to read her face for a specific reaction. He brought her to the lounge on purpose. Just to rile her up. Well, it definitely worked. The question was, what did he need to distract her for?

"And you decided it was a good idea to bring her to a room full of Netas unprotected? I'm not fucking stupid."

"Okay, fine. I was feeling down about Jade and I breaking up and Jasmine decided to cheer me up by taking me out tonight. We ended up here and I had no idea you owned this place. That's the truth and you can aim the gun all you want at me but it still wont change it," he added and Sofia had half a mind to shoot his balls off but there was something to be said about a man who was able to bare his troubles in such a raw way. She had a new found respect for the male nurse and she finally put her gun down and holstered it back to where it had been.

"I didn't know you guys weren't seeing each other anymore," Sofia mentioned and realized she found it odd Jade hadn't talked to her about it in the last couple of months. Did she have something to do with whatever he was doing there tonight? Sofia would have to press an answer out of Jade when she finally got a hold of her.

"I told her the truth. She couldn't handle it."

"What truth was that?" Sofia inquired as she watched him step closer to her while the crowd above them continued to holler over the next song the DJ was playing. The music vibrated through the walls behind her as her back pressed against it once again. The air was humid, despite the air conditioning she spent a fortune installing in the entire building. Andy had this affect on her unfortunately and he knew it. He was hard, she was dripping wet. It was only a matter of time before they set this tension ablaze with just a kiss.

"That I'm crazy about someone else," Andy confessed and his penetrating gaze answered the question burning the tip of her tongue. She'd done everything she could to show him how bad she was for a man like him. Yet here he was, letting her into the most vulnerable parts of him and she had no clue what her next move was going to be. All she knew was she wasn't ready to deal with the repercussions if she did decide to let Andy in.

"What's the deal with you and Jasmine? You know we're rivals, right?" she changed the subject, but it was futile. The intensity in his gaze made her wet enough to fuck him right then and there.

"We don't have to be on the same team to enjoy each other's company," he reasoned, yet there was a double meaning in his words she couldn't quite put her finger on at the moment. She was too busy picturing his mouth between her legs.

"Do you still fuck her?" Sofia asked, referring to his ex-wife, who was probably looking for him as they continued to attract each other like magnets.

"No. But I'd be more than happy to service you tonight. If you'd let me." he offered with a smirk, taking Sofia by surprise. He was hiding something. Her instincts never let her down before but just for tonight, she wanted to ignore her paranoia and let this man take the edge off.

"What makes you think I haven't been served already?" she teased and watched the impatience grow in his demeanor as he brushed his fingertips against her cheekbone. It was a tender gesture, something she wasn't used to; not from him anyway. Daviel's face suddenly popped up into her mind, reminding her of the last time she went down this rabbit hole with a man. He was hanging on by a thread because of her. Would Andy go down the same road?

There was only one way to find out.

Sofia jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist as he held her up against the wall, lifting her dress up to her waist. She wasn't wearing any underwear, and he seemed to appreciate that gesture. He held onto her as he lowered his head towards her pried open legs. Andy used his warm tongue to penetrate her slippery folds and her head fell back against the wall instantly, allowing herself to enjoy how good he made her feel. He sucked on her clit with precision and skill, tugging only in between moments where she felt herself desperate for more.

His hands grabbed her behind and pulled her even closer to his face, allowing him more access to her inner walls. They contracted around him, her body shaking with anticipation as she waited for her orgasm to rock through her body. But it never came. Her eyes immediately opened to see Andy pulling away from her thighs, his hands at her waist as he let her watch him lick her juices from his lips.

"Tomorrow, six o'clock," Andy stated as he helped her fix her dress. Sofia was speechless, full of every emotion possible that resembled fury. This man was going to give her an ulcer.

"Are you seriously going to leave me like this?"

"Absolutely. Go out on a date with me," he continued, another bomb coming out of his mouth she needed to process.

"I don't date. I fuck. Hard. Fast. In bed or out. That's all I can promise," Sofia countered, waiting for him to judge her sexuality like everyone else had her entire life. So what if she enjoyed more of the sex than the romance? What did romance ever give anyone but broken hearts and false expectations?

"Well then, I guess I'll see you around." Andy teased with another smirk as he walked away, leaving her stewing in anger.
