Love songs for every stage of a relationship are key to maintaining a happiness and a perspective on love. The best part is knowing where you are on the list. Play the song; learn the lesson; love the lover. It's that easy. We take you through all the stages of a relationship, from the really fun ones to the not-so-fun-ones. There are songs to love to and songs to fight to, because what relationship would be complete without a little arguing now and then. Even arguing has its own upside: you get to make up and be in love all over again! No matter where you are in your relationship, you should always be able to turn on these songs and feel that you are on a wild ride of romance. If ever you find yourself doubting that you love them, see if you can play one of these songs and not think of that special someone. Now sit back, and relax with this list of love songs for every level of a relationship. These songs compiled here are the songs that you can listen to any day or any night, just so long as the moment is right. But they're even better when they have a meaning to you two. Maybe some of you even met during one of these very songs!

The first stage of any relationship is the attraction stage. You see each other from across the room, and an electric shiver goes down your spine. There's a good trouble staring back at you from behind crystal eyes, and all you can do is succumb to the pull. This first stage is a strange mix of fear and excitement; there's something animal about the whole dance. Is this person a threat? Am I going to get hurt? Finally, if all the alarms are silent: we give in. Play this song in your head as you saunter over to buy her or him a drink. Say something suave, or say nothing at all and just smile. This is where the fun starts.

"Baby I'm praying on you tonight" starts this song off real right. It's the beginning of the song that sets the stage for what happens when two people get together and are just getting to know each other. This is the most volatile stage. The stage where you go home together, and are maybe a few dates in. Nervous excitement and just plain old excitement permeate the air. It's this moment that you knew was coming when you first laid eyes on the other person across that room. Before you even asked them on a date: this is where you knew you'd end up. All that suspense, all that holding up, makes "Animals" the best song to dive into. Hopefully this is a love song for every level of a relationship.

Leon Bridges' silky voice sends the message clearly. The third stage is one of the honeymoon phases. After the initial awkwardness of getting to know one another, there's a breath of fresh air. The birds chirp louder; the grass grows greener. This other person seems to you the easiest and most natural relationship you could have. It's at this point that everything is all "Smooth Sailin'". If it's really meant to be, you can place this song at every level of a relationship. It's the perfect soundtrack to calm happiness and romantic dinners, Leon Bridges sings "I like the way you sail your ship".

You've spent the night together more than a few times, and it's time to decide what direction you're going in. Are you going to stay the next night? The night after that? It's time to decide if this is a serious relationship, or just two people meeting in the night. The magic of this stage of the relationship is in the not knowing what's coming next. This is where you get to learn how you feel, how they feel, and how "we" feel. Your friends might start referring to "you two" as "you". You've gone from being two people having fun, to a couple. And it's exciting.

You decided to stay. Congratulations! But all is not well at stage five. This is where the first fight happens. I mean the first whopper. Not the argument about what to watch on TV; where to eat; or which friend's party to go to. I mean the sort of fight that expletives start to fly. It's alright. It's natural. This is where it goes. Leave it to Gary Clark Junior to play out the anger, so you don't have to. At the end, you'll be closer and better for it. There will always be fights, there will always be arguments. But the first one is the one where you don't think you'll make it through. This song's for you.

Stage six is where life happens. The first crisis you face as a couple. Family members accept, hopefully, the other person as part of the family. Your significant other provides support, and love, to get through whatever it is. This is where relationships become marriages: what do they do when the going gets tough? Brown Bird sings of a man drowning in life, and only his wife can help him out. Stage six is the most heart-wrenching of all the stages of a relationship because inevitably, no matter what the level of relationship you're in, you come back to this one. You can even play this song at every level of a relationship, if only to remind you of what you'll need some day.

Sometimes we gotta stick up for our loved ones. We have to do it to our family, their family, and our friends. Every once in a while, our significant other needs that little bit of support. Besides that, who doesn't love to be defended? Here, Stevie Ray Vaughn is singing about his "pretty little baby" who is his "pride and joy". The relationship, by this point, has been through a few ups and downs, and it's survived. Now, you are happily a "we" and you need to make sure that everyone knows it. If someone picks a fight with your baby, you're "gonna see a man get mean". This is a love song for every occasion, for every level of a relationship.

You're getting married! You can only get married for the first time once, and this is it. And you're happy. So happy you don't know what to do with yourself. It's scary, sure. But it's the best kind of scary because now you're sharing that scariness with the one you love. It's fantastic and you need your friends and family to know it. That's why at your wedding, you might want to consider this song by Pharrell. It gets the point across in a way only he can. This can also be one of the love songs for every level of a relationship.

You're married, you have a joint checking account. You are officially together. All the whirlwind of romance and planning have gone by and you can settle into life together. That's when a person gets to reflecting on love and what being in love really means. Freddy Mercury sings all about on this track from 1979 about "this crazy little thing called love" and isn't that the truth. Being in love can be scary, in can be uncertain, but now at this stage it's something more concrete. Something real. Mercury sings about love's "crying in a cradle all night", now you get to thinking about having kids and starting a family.

What's ever been said that hasn't been said better by the Beatles. This is the sweet little love song that reminds the person you love, that at the end of it all, there will be always be love. The song's title says it all. "P.S." goes at the end of a letter, and that letter can be those moments we'd rather not have to go through in life, but it gets a little bit better knowing that you are loved and that you love someone else. They will always be there, arms outstretched with love and support. Because at the end of the day "remember that I'll always be in love with you".
