Kadie's Fantasies (Pt. 16)

After having breakfast, William sat down with Kadie on his loveseat and held her close as she took place on his lap. "Damien said we could only leave when you're free. So... when, or how much money do you need to leave?"

Kadie sighed and shook her head. "Honestly? Anna said 1 million, but I've only been able to raise 10 thousand dollars. I'm getting slightly frustrated."

Will chuckled and shook his head. "Only 1 million?"

Katie gasped and pushed him back. "What do you mean only? Where I'm from, that's a lot of cash. It could damn well keep you going for 20 years."

Will shook his head. "Well, I earn triple—almost quadruple what you do in a month. I've been working with him for seven years and then some, so in total, I have about 3 million dollars saved up. We can pay him 1 million, and we don't have to move out. I can still work here, but you would live with me." He grinned at her and Kadie shook her head.

"I can't let you do that. What if something goes wrong? What if Damien fires you? Or worse? I can't put you in that situation..."

"Katie." He cut her off and held her hands before sliding off the couch and dropping to one knee. "Do you understand what I'm asking you to do besides living with me? I'm asking you to commit to me. I'm not asking you to pay anything in return. I mean, you can say no. I'm still going to help you because I love you. Will you make me the happiest man alive and take that measly money and marry me?" The way he looked into Kadie's eyes made her heart flutter and she nodded her head, looking down at Will with the most intense gaze.

"Yes! Yes, I'll marry you." She threw herself down at Will and he caught her, gracefully setting her down on the floor beneath him and kissing her passionately.

Will grinned and Kadie to himself, luxuriating in the warmth of her body against his: hopefully a warmth he would always have no matter what.

Will and Kadie spent the morning holding one another close. They were both in euphoria after the proposal. The idea of being happy with each other seemed so close now: almost impossible to deny.

Kadie slipped into the shower after a while, and Will joined her seconds later. He placed a soft kiss on her neck, running his hands down her body.

"Soon," he whispered into her ear, "you'll be all mine. I will never share you again."

Kadie grinned and turned around to face him, letting the hot water hit her back in a calming pattern.

"I would hope not, because I don't intend to share you either."

Will chuckled and grabbed his body wash, rubbing it into a body sponge, handing it to her.

Showers were usually calming for the both of them, places of tranquility and times where you can feel clean walking out.

One thing Will knew is that he definitely hadn't thought of them as sexy. Even with his first wife: the only time they had bathed together was to conserve water and it was very rushed and hasty. But this...

Kadie looked into his eyes before she ran the sponge down his chest. Will immediately assumed it was her attempt to seduce him, but she shook her head, giggling when he began grinning wildly.

When she pressed her hand to his chest on the spot over his heart, Will understood that this wasn't just sexual: it was about intimacy. He nodded, becoming serious before his heart fluttered with hers. Kadie pressed a kiss over the spot where her hand had just been before she reached up and kissed him softly. She thought to herself that this was it. This was love. This feeling she felt every time she was around him was something too true for both of them. She wouldn't- couldn't ever grow tired of his soft kisses.

When she pulled away, lust, love, and passion were drawn out in Will's sleepy eyes. Kadie grinned at him and finished washing him. When she finished, he did the same to her in a slow rhythmic pattern, placing a kiss on her skin after every rinse of soap.
