Mother’s Day
When I entered the world you held me tight I screamed, cried but in your arms I knew I was protected. As I grew you evolved you taught me about how to overcome life circumstances. How to be a respectful and responsible adult is all about; there are levels to the love I have for you. I always want you to know that it’s my turn to protect and love you like you once did for me. Now that I am grown you still reach out with open arms. Once again I know I am still protected and loved. You are my everything and I love you for it mom.

A writer was born
A writer was born Growing up I always tried to fit in . I realized real quick that the world could be cruel. So at ten years old I realized I have to be authentic to myself and forget what the world thought of me. I was told by someone staring at me, “I see pain behind that smile you can’t fool me.” “You have to find a healthy way to channel and release your pain.”I looked at this individual, then smiled as I walked away. I went home, grabbed my pen. At that very moment a writer was born. I begin to write stories, poems and fell in love with this art form.
