Forty-eight percent of the gaming community is female. That is an eight percent increase since 2010. You would think that with such increase, the gaming community would not only tolerate females but embrace them as well. Instead, many females who pick up a controller (or rock a keyboard) are called "fake gamers". Flirtation is rampant; sexist comments are normal.

I'm Still Hungry
My daughter is an unstoppable force; unfortunately, this means her stomach is nothing short of a black hole. It doesn't matter if she had a full three-course dinner that Gordon Ramsay himself would cry over; she will always come back within the hour and ask for a snack. This holds true for most kids I know, honestly, whether those kids are picky about what goes in their mouths or not. Most parents know the exasperation of finally getting everyone fed, and cleaning up the mess, just to hear the patter of feet that stop just behind you.

The Downfall of a Neurotypical Female
Every Disney movie has the same plot for the most part. Seriously. A princess in a dire situation is on the cusp of doom when a prince rushes in to save her. I came to realize this when I was 15, and I began to wonder if true love was real. I came to the conclusion that no, there was no destined soul mate for everyone. It was more just finding someone you could tolerate and settling down.
