The Indulgent Woman
She gazed out of the window at the city below, tapping her fingers impatiently on the glass as she waited for the phone to ring. Even in the darkness the city was beautiful, sparkling and shimmering at her feet… She was beautiful too. Sitting there by the window, legs crossed, slowly sipping wine as she thought about him. He was late again, busy working in one of the skyscrapers she could just see from her apartment. It was getting cold, and goosebumps were starting to appear on her bare skin, contrasting with the gorgeous silk and delicate tulle of her lingerie. It was delivered today, and as she opened the box, she could imagine his lips curve into a smile when she would stand before him, her body shaded by the decadent black embroidery and straps running along her breasts and waist.
